/about

Small by design. Senior by default.

Pliska Labs is an independent, founder-led software and security engineering practice in Colorado.

The working model

The person responsible for understanding the problem remains close to the implementation. There is no account-management layer and no handoff from a polished sales conversation to a separate delivery team learning the system later.

This structure is useful for assignments that cross software, systems, browser behavior, automation, infrastructure, and security without respecting departmental boundaries.

How work starts

  1. Bring the problem, including the messy version.
  2. Talk technically about the real system, constraints, and stakes.
  3. Define the smallest engagement that produces useful evidence.
  4. Expand only when the first work makes the next decision clearer.

Working principles

Use technology deliberately.
The simplest approach that solves the present problem reliably is usually the right one.
Make failure understandable.
Useful systems expose state, ownership, and recovery instead of failing as a mystery.
Earn complexity.
More architecture is justified only when it solves a concrete constraint.
Leave it maintainable.
Understandable implementation, useful documentation, and sensible handoff are part of delivery.

Colorado-based. Working across the U.S.

If the problem needs software and security judgment in the same room, that overlap is intentional.
